General Ledger Trial Balance Detail uses the JournalRecords detail tables and dynamically constructs the Retained Earning and ignores auto-created journals for Current Earning and Retained earnings.

QBO does not create Current or Retained Earning entries

MYOB creates both monthly Current Earnings and at Year Start generates a Current Earnings reversal and Retained Earnings for the new year.

This report ignores all Curent Earnings. It ignores Retained Earnings journal created at year start ( JS.JournalTypeID = 'GJ' and Memo like 'End of Year Adjustment' )

For this reason will give incorrect retained earnings if previous transaction detail has been purged by rolling the year and purging data. (MYOB)
